News:

December 2011: Tilmann Gneiting receives an Advanced Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for a project on The Science of Forecasting: Probabilistic Foundations, Statistical Methodology and Applications.

We are delighted to welcome Professor Jon A. Wellner from the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington in Seattle in our group. Professor Wellner has received a Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to carry out research projects in Germany and spends academic year 2011/12 in Heidelberg.
