Instructions for Authors of the LNCS Volume

If your submission will be published in the Proceedings in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series, follow the instructions given here.

  1. We ask you to fill out the Consent to Publish form which can be found here. One copyright form from the corresponding author suffices. On the copyright form you are asked to fill in the title of the volume and the volume editors. Please use the following:

    Volume title: Proceedings CiE 2009
    Editors: K. Ambos-Spies et al.
You can submit the completed form (together with the camera-ready version of your paper) via the CiE submission page, latest by
    17 April 2009,
Alternatively, the completed form can be send
as a scan emailed to logic@math.uni-heidelberg.de
    or
    by fax to +49 6221 544465
    or by surface mail to
    CiE 2009, c/o Prof. Dr. Klaus Ambos-Spies
    Institut für Informatik
    Universität Heidelberg
    Im Neuenheimer Feld 294
    D-69120 Heidelberg
    Germany
  2. We will need all the Tex source files of your submission and a pdf file for checking. Please prepare your final version as a LaTeX file following strictly the author instructions given by Springer-Verlag, in particular using the Springer LNCS style which can be downloaded from the same author instruction page of Springer-Verlag. Please make also sure that your files compile, e.g. that all macro-files and bib-files are included. We recommend that you copy all files in a separate folder and try it out.

Please note that no modifications of your final version will be possible after the deadline (see 4).
  3. Please do not change the format or fonts of the LNCS style file - we would have to change it back to the original LNCS ones. Your final submission in the original LNCS format must not exceed 10 pages. Failure to comply with the page limit without explicit permission from the PC chairs may result in your paper not being printed in the LNCS volume.

  4. Please upload all your files using your account at the CiE submission system. The deadline for receiving your final version is

    17 April 2009.

It is important that you meet the deadline so that the Proceedings volume will be ready for the conference. Papers received after this deadline will not be printed.

  5. We ask you to check the author details which you have provided in the CiE submission system - they will be used to produce the author index for the volume.
